Children have a funny way of coaxing smiles out of even the most broken hearts. Sarah and I spend a great deal of time smiling and laughing at the antics of our girls, the things they say, the things they do, the crazy ideas they come up with. It’s very clear that God has given these gifts for a particular joy in this life.
As a family learning and employing what love is (as defined by God) creates true joy in a home! Please listen to the message below:
With four little girls in our house there’s a lot of opportunity for cat fights and crying. It gets exhausting and by the end of the day my patience in worn thin. But remembering who these girls are in the peaceful times (see the pic above) that’s what gets me through! We all have our bad days just try to remember the good and it’ll help you push through.
Life presents us with hard circumstances. However, YHWH offers us this promise in His word, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” – Isaiah 26:3
The past two years of my life has confirmed this promise. Through betrayal, confusion, and some health issues it’s been my families goal to “stay” our minds on Jesus! This is how we can smile as we do.
We’re only four days away from meeting our new baby. Life is truly more full for us the more children we have but moments like these make me to feel truly content.
